Have you ever had a little sister or cousin who was really, really cute and adorable, but once they opened their mouths you really wanted to smack them? Well, a lot of the time, that's Chibi-Usa.
I hate to say it, but she can be quite the snot. Well, I suppose she's a snot to Usagi and not really anyone else. She's very proud of herself and somehow I think Usagi attacks that, constantly.
I think, really, that Chibi-Usa almost has a right to be a brat. Her whole life is quite the roller coaster. First of all, she was born the daughter of Neo-Queen Serenity and King Endymion in 30th Century Tokyo. Like her mother, her name is also Serenity, or Usagi, but she is referred to as Chibi-Usa, which means Small Lady. There are two reasons, that I can think of, that they call her this. One, because she is the Princess and is also small. So, Small Lady fits. Secondly, she is quite small alright, especially for her age. She appears to be about 6 or 7, but truly she is 900 years old. Unlike the other Scouts and Tuxedo Kamen who grew until they were adults and stopped aging, she stopped aging at a young age.
Not only does she have an abnormal age, but she also doesn't have the powers. For some reason the never manifested in her. She was often made fun of by others about how she could not help out and was useless. This is what brought upon the next horrible thing in her life.
Because she felt so useless, Chibi-Usa thought if she took the Imperium Silver Crystal she could do something with it. Well no one else thought she could, but she was right. This brought down the whole empire as wel as let the Dark Moon family in to do trouble. This brought a horrible guilt upon Chibi-Usa and she only wanted to help her family. So with Sailor Pluto's help, Chibi-Usa travelled to the past to stop the Dark Moon family who also traveled to the past.
When she gets to the 20th Century, the first people Chibi-Usa meets are Usagi and Mamoru, her future parents, but she doesn't know this. To get a hold of the Imperium Silver Crystal, Chibi-Usa places herself into Usagi's family posing as a cousin. Eventually the whole situation in the past is settled, but not without tons of problems and harassment.
During this time, she is transformed by the evil Wiseman into Wicked Lady. After Usagi transforms to Neo-Queen Serenity and saves her daughter from the evil man, Chibi-Usa begins to grow as usual and finds when she returns home that she has become a sailor scout! Neo-Queen Serenity of the future sends her back to the past again to study and learn with Sailormoon.
Hmm.. if you think about it, that's quite a hectic life. Granted, at one her age, she should be mature enough to handle it. But alas, she is much like Usagi and quite immature and child-like. Gotta love her anyhow. Just looked at that pic below.. ain't she a cutie??
